Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) has completed its 2026 diamond drilling campaign at the Horse Heaven antimony-tungsten-gold-silver project located in Idaho. The company reported that the program concluded with 42 holes drilled for a total of 12,236 metres at the Golden Gate prospect. This marks the largest exploration program ever conducted at the site, according to the company.
The drilling campaign targeted extensions to known gold and tungsten mineralisation across the Golden Gate North and Golden Gate South areas. The average hole depth was approximately 290 metres. Resolution Minerals stated that assay results remain pending for 39 of the holes. The company expects these results to be released progressively over the coming months. All core logging has been completed, and the final samples are due to be dispatched for multi-element analysis within a week.
Earlier results from the first three holes of the 2026 program identified broad gold mineralisation. One hole returned 305.7 metres at 0.64 grams per tonne gold from surface. This interval included 17.25 metres at 1.19 grams per tonne gold from 264.85 metres. Drilling from 2025 had previously returned 189.2 metres at 1.30 grams per tonne gold and 253 metres at 1.5 grams per tonne gold from separate holes. Resolution Minerals says the first three 2026 holes extended gold mineralisation at least 2,000 metres south from Golden Gate North to Golden Gate South.
The company also logged core for geology, alteration, and mineralisation. Geologists used shortwave ultraviolet light to identify scheelite, a tungsten-bearing mineral. Drilling tested a substantial tungsten-in-soil anomaly at Golden Gate South and areas around historical scheelite mine workings at Golden Gate North.
Golden Gate sits within Resolution Minerals wider Horse Heaven project, which also includes Antimony Ridge. The project is immediately adjacent to Perpetua Resources Stibnite gold project. Resolution Minerals noted that Golden Gate and Antimony Ridge have been selected by the US Permitting Council for FAST-41 Transparency Coverage. This designation is intended to accelerate permitting timelines across the relevant prospects.
Resolution Minerals began trading on Nasdaq on 9 September through an American depositary receipt structure. The company stated that this move is expected to improve its visibility among US investors, institutions, and government organisations. Craig Lindsay, chief executive officer of US operations, thanked the team and drillers for the accomplishment, describing it as a major step forward in the development of the project.
With drilling now complete, near-term attention shifts to the outstanding assay flow. Resolution Minerals will assess the extent of gold and tungsten mineralisation defined by its largest Horse Heaven exploration campaign to date. Investors will monitor the pending results to determine the continuity, scale, and grade of the mineral systems targeted by the completed campaign.
