Careers at Global Securities News

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Global Securities News is published by RICHPORT MEDIA INC. Our articles are AI-drafted from primary documents and verified before publication, as described on How We Report. The role we contract for is editorial review of that output.

Contributing Editor

A Contributing Editor is an independent contractor, not an employee, engaged to cover a region beat: one or more of North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South America and Oceania.

The work is reviewing articles in that region against their sources. That means reading an assigned article in full, opening the primary documents listed in its Sources block, and checking that the material claims, figures and quotations in the piece are supported by those documents. Where something is not supported, you say so and the article is corrected or held. A Contributing Editor does not write the articles.

Reviewed articles carry a reviewer credit naming the editor, and editors are listed on our public masthead at Contributing Editors under their real professional name, with their region, a short biography and a link to their professional profile. Because a credit names a real, identifiable person, it is applied only after the review has actually taken place.

Being named is by consent. Nothing about you appears on the site until you have confirmed in writing that you agree to be listed publicly in that role, with the bio text and photograph you have approved. You approve any later change to either, and if you ask to be delisted, your entry is removed.

We are interested in people with genuine experience of securities, markets or financial regulation in a region we cover, who are comfortable working from filings and can say plainly when a document does not support a claim.

How to apply

Email [email protected] with the region you want to cover and a link to your professional profile, such as LinkedIn or a personal professional site carrying your name.
