Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: July 23, 2026

Global Securities News (“GSN,” “we,” “us”) is a news publication covering equities, bonds, regulation, IPOs, and earnings across global markets. In the course of that coverage, some of our articles contain affiliate links, and this page explains what that means for readers, in plain terms and in line with U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance on endorsements and material connections.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a link to a third-party financial product, service, brokerage, trading platform, research tool, or similar offering that is tagged so the provider can track that a reader arrived via GSN. If a reader clicks an affiliate link and then signs up, opens an account, subscribes, or makes a purchase, GSN may earn a commission or referral fee from that provider.

There is no additional cost to the reader for using an affiliate link. The price, fees, or terms a reader receives from the third-party provider are the same whether they arrive through our link or find the provider independently.

Affiliate links do not influence our editorial coverage

Whether an article gets written, what it says, and how a company, product, or provider is described are editorial decisions made independently of any affiliate relationship. Our journalists and editors do not adjust coverage, ratings, or recommendations to favor an affiliate partner, and the presence or absence of an affiliate relationship with a company is never a factor in whether or how we report on it. Our newsroom practices, including how we handle conflicts of interest and corrections, are set out in our Editorial Standards & Corrections policy.

Affiliate links are commercial add-ons to a story, not a driver of it. A provider does not receive favorable coverage in exchange for an affiliate arrangement, and a provider we have no commercial relationship with can be covered, favorably or unfavorably, on the same basis as any other.

How affiliate links are marked

We want readers to be able to tell an affiliate link apart from a plain editorial or reference link at a glance. Where a link in an article is an affiliate link, we mark it in one or more of the following ways:

If you are ever unsure whether a specific link is an affiliate link, you can contact us using the details below and we will confirm.

How we choose affiliate partners

We only enter into affiliate relationships with providers that we believe are relevant and potentially useful to our readership of investors and market followers — for example, brokerages, trading platforms, research and data tools, or financial education services. Before affiliating with a provider, we consider factors such as the nature of its offering, its relevance to our coverage areas, and its general standing in the market.

That said, an affiliate relationship, or GSN’s decision to link to a provider, is not an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of that provider’s products, services, performance, suitability, or reliability. We do not vet affiliate partners to the standard of a licensed financial adviser, and inclusion of a link should not be read as investment, legal, or tax advice. As with all content on GSN, our coverage is news and information only, not personalized financial guidance.

Do your own research

Financial products, brokerages, and trading platforms carry risks, fees, and terms that vary by provider and by jurisdiction, and can change over time. Before signing up for or purchasing anything through a link on our site, whether affiliate or not, we encourage readers to:

Affiliate links may sit alongside other forms of commercial content on our site, including display advertising and sponsored articles. Details on how those are labeled are available in our Advertising Disclosure and Paid Promotions Policy.
